Hi, I’m David. Technically retired—but the truth is, I’m not very good at sitting still. What really fires me up is working with people: diving into the details of a business, uncovering areas to streamline, and helping unlock potential that leads to real growth.

 

After running Advantage Route Systems for the last 30+ years [sold in April 2024], I’ve seen firsthand how clarity, strategy, and the right tools can transform operations. Building teams and managing our growth brought a high degree of satisfaction.

I also have a deep love for the world and its cultures. In addition to English, I speak French, Chinese, and Spanish, and I’ve had the privilege of living abroad in Finland, China, and throughout many parts of Europe. During my career, I have visited over 70 countries - and can say honestly not a single regret. There are so many great and talented people scattered around the planet.

 

Along the way, I’ve built lasting relationships and developed a passion for global sourcing and importing. I enjoy navigating the logistics, language, and communication needed to bring unique products to life—and to market.
